Elysha Grauman has been a physician assistant in the field of dermatology for over 5 years. Raised in Washington, DC, she volunteered her time as a firefighter / EMT while pursuing her undergraduate education both in the US and abroad. She graduated with honors from Wagner College with a degree in physician assistant studies. Elysha began her career in the field of surgery, spending much of her time in the operating room. She was then recruited to work in the Emergency Department. Wanting to have more long-term and meaningful interactions with her patients, and combined with a strong interest in medical and aesthetic dermatology, she moved to private dermatology practice. Elysha takes particular delight in making patients look and feel their best, both from a medical as well as an aesthetic perspective.
A Fellow in the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, Elysha is trained in dermatologic medical, surgical and aesthetic procedures, some common medical dermatology conditions she treats are acne, eczema, psoriasis, alopecia and warts, among many others. From the surgical aspect, examples of procedures include the excisions of malignant skin cancers as well as cysts. On the Aesthetic side, Elysha is trained in injectables such as botox and fillers, micro-needling, PRP, and lasers.
