Azalesha Rodriguez has been a dedicated physician assistant in the field of dermatology for over 8 years with experience in all aspects of adult and pediatric dermatology. She graduated cum laude from Touro College and received a master’s degree in physician assistant studies. For the Physician Assistant National Certifying Exam she placed amongst the top physician assistant graduates in the nation. Additional honors include being the recipient of the“Outstanding Clinical Achievement Award.” Her previous experience includes being a hematology/oncology PA providing comprehensive and compassionate care in an inpatient and outpatient setting. She dealt extensively with severely immunocompromised patients with cancer and other hematologic conditions.
Azalesha Rodriguez RPA-C has a wealth of medical and cosmetic experience that includes the diagnosis and treatment of complex dermatological conditions as well as administering and monitoring patients on high-risk medications. She is skilled in a vast array of dermatologic procedures that include but are not limited to: Botox, fillers, chemical peels, Xtrac laser, punch and shave biopsies as well as excisions. She is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants and also has been an educator and mentor to prospective and new dermatology physician assistant graduates.
