She graduated Bachelor of Science , cum laude, and Doctor of Medicine, cum laude, from the University of the Philippines. She finished a Residency in Internal Medicine at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center followed by a Residency in Dermatology at New York Medical College – Metropolitan Hospital Center.
She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.
